I am a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and speaker with over sixteen years of experience in film and television.
Most recently, I directed a documentary on Harriet Tubman's Living Legacy for the National Park Service at the Underground Railroad National Historic Site.
My current work includes two projects close to my heart. DABNEY is a short animated documentary about Tuskegee Airman and civil rights activist Dabney N. Montgomery—a man born in Selma, Alabama who was called to obey his conscience in the segregated South. Wisdom Traditions, inspired by Henry Hampton's landmark series Eyes on the Prize, takes me to sacred sites across the country to sit with Elders, artists, and historians—listening for the teachings that have always carried us, and discovering what they might show us about the way forward.

"As a documentarian, I happily place my fate and faith in reality. After all, the knowledge of the real world is exactly what we need to better understand and therefore possibly to love one another. It's my way of making the world a better place." Albert Maysles
